DEVANGAR POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE – LOCATION & INFRASTRUCTURE

COLLEGE LAND:

Land was acquired by the Gift Deed measuring around 6.48 acres and the Land was donated by M/s. Devangar Promoters Pvt. Ltd., to construct the Polytechnic college Buildings near Periyakulam, Theni District Tamil Nadu (South India). It is located just at the hillock of Kodaikkanal, exactly between Periyakulam and Devadhanapatti on National Highway 45 A which is enjoying pleasant and chill climate.

MAIN BUILDING:

The Polytechnic has 2 campus sections-Main Building & Work shop, covers 6.48 acres of land, spread over 86,345 sq ft.., which includes well equipped workshops and standard class rooms with tiles, laboratories in such courses, the Physics, Chemistry and Mechanical Block, Electrical Engineering Block, Computer Engineering Block, Civil Engineering Block, Electronic and Communication Block, Library along with a Central Library.

WORKSHOP & ANNEXURE BUILDING:

Workshop building is established in an exclusively separate building having a built up floor area of 25,531 sq.ft with adequate infrastructure, workshops and laboratories with 63KVA Generator power supply for promoting the practical skill in the area of Industrial (Mechanical) Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & communication Engineering, Civil Engineering. In addition to promoting Testing and Training facilities are established in the annexure building..

Class Rooms:

A per AICTE norms, Spacious and well furnished class rooms are housed in the main building with modern single desk with benches. The Class rooms are highly illuminated and ventilated with ample open space to breathe the air of freedom and unpolluted ambience. It is really an inspiring start to the students stepping in to the Engineering World.
